With its technical spec - waterproof zips, for example - it's good to pull it from your pack when the wind strengthens as you reach a pass, or when the first raindrops fall. A seriously technical jacket for long-distance walkers. This SHIFT GORE-TEX® JKT waterproof jacket is designed for you to achieve your goals, affording you the very best level of protection against the elements. When the rain is pouring down, you can rely on the GORE-TEX® PACLITE® fabric and the taped seams to keep water at bay. Even when the wind is blowing a gale, its 3-way adjustable hood can be adjusted for the perfect fit and keep you optimally sheltered. Ideal for long haul treks, this ultralight GORE-TEX® jacket is very breathable so that moisture from your body escapes before you cool down. It is partially made from recycled materials and has a waterproof coating that contains no environmentally harmful PFCs.

WATER REPELLENT

The durable water repellent (DWR) finish is a surface treatment that stops water from penetrating: it just beads up and rolls away. Optimal results when complemented by a waterproof membrane.
WATERPROOF

Fully waterproof and breathable, with all seams welded. Protective apparel is the first barrier against the elements. These essential items ensure performance and durability.
